How long have you been a fan?
I have been a fan since 1998. I started watching NASCAR by accident (no pun intended.) One of my friends explained the rules and who some of the drivers were. Once I found out that Jimmie was from El Cajon, I was hooked.
How did your interest in racing start?
I grew up in El Cajon like Jimmie. I also liked the look of the Team Lowe's No. 48 car. The class of the whole team is what really peaked my interest in racing.
Who was your favorite first driver?
Absolutely Jimmie. He has more class than most drivers. He is very intense but at the same time, very respectful. Did I mention he is very good-looking?
Who is your favorite current driver?
Jimmie Johnson of course.
If you had three hours to spend with your favorite driver, what would you do?
I would love to visit the Hendrick Motorsports' facility with Jimmie, Chandra, and Chad and, if possible, ride along with Jimmie when he's practicing. I would like to just talk and get to know them better.
What is your most memorable moment in racing?
There are so many but I liked the race wen Jimmie nosed past Tony Stewart with just two laps left.
How many races do you attend each year?
I have never been to a race but hopefully will sometime soon.
What is your favorite track?
I would have to say Indianapolis. Three-wide racing is way cool.
If you worked in racing, what would you do?
I would love to drive.
If you were in charge of NASCAR, what would you change?
Have all the races at night. That would be great!
