I love it when fans wear their colors on their sleeves. Or their chests. Or their heads. At a NASCAR race, what you wear sends out a message to other race fans.
One of my favorite things about NASCAR is the instant camaraderie that forms between fans of the same driver. One guy could be from Boston…another from New York. As soon as they see that they’re both wearing Jimmie Johnson t-shirts, they instantly start up a conversation and a friendship. Boston and NYC? That would never happen at a ballpark!
Of course, Jimmie Johnson fans have a lot to cheer about. With five races to go in the NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup, Johnson sits atop the points standings and has won three of the first five Chase races.
