Our Manufacturer is Chevy

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Michigan International Speedway this week, which just happens to be the home of the American auto manufacturers. Of course, our manufacturer is Chevy, so to honor that we have asked the Team Lowe's Racing crew to name their favorite Chevy model. It's probably no surprise that American muscle ranked at the top with Corvettes, Camaros and Chevelles, but Tahoes also took a top spot. Check out the answers below:

Ron Malec (car chief), Chris Krieg (pit crew coach), Ryan Patton (tire carrier): Corvette

Austin Konetski (mechanic): new Camaro

Brandon Harder (gasman): Camaro

Greg Morin (pit crew coach): '69 Camaro

Calvin Teague (tire changer): Modern - Silverado, Classic - Chevelle

T.J. Ford (jackman), David Mayo (tire changer): Chevelle

Marius Hauser (engineer), R.J. Barnette (tire carrier), Matt Tyrrell (tire carrier): Tahoe

Kyle Bazzell (hauler driver): '57 Chevy

Pete Michel (shocks/engineer): Volt

Chad Kohn (backup hauler driver): Chevy Trucks

Lance Munksgard (pit crew coach): Avalanche

Dave Collins (tire changer): Chevy SS

John Boydston (engine tuner): 1970-72 C-10

David Elenz (race engineer): Silverado

Earl Barban (spotter): 1500 Crew Cab

Andrew Childers (backup jackman): '96 Impala SS
