School's in Session

With school back in session, we thought it would be fun to ask the No. 48 Lowe’s Racing crew what their favorite classes were back in the day. From German to Autoshop, the crew’s responses were nothing short of interesting and surprising! Check out what they had to say below and let us know your favorite subject:

  • Kyle Bazzell (hauler driver) – Art [did they have tattooing in middle school?!]
  • Ron Malec (car chief) – Social Studies
  • Austin Konetski (mechanic) – Lunch [is this even a subject?!]
  • Chris Krieg (pit crew coach), Chad Kohn (backup hauler driver) and R.J. Barnette (front tire carrier) – History
  • Dave Collins (tire changer) – Autoshop
  • John Boydston (engine tuner) – Technology
  • David Elenz (engineer) and Marius Hauser (engineer) – Physics [can’t be a coincidence that both engineers liked this subject!]
  • Greg Morin (pit crew coach) and Lance Munksgard (pit crew coach) – Anatomy & Physiology [fitting for our pit crew coaches!]
  • Earl Barban (spotter), TJ Ford (jack man),Pete Michel (engineer) andCalvin Teague (tire changer) – Math [we bet you guys know how to count to 48!]
  • Brandon Harder (gasman) – Gym because of sports!
  • Matt Tyrrell (tire carrier) – An entrepreneurship class I took in college.
  • David Mayo (tire changer) – Auto-Mechanic
  • Andrew Childers (backup jack man) – German [guess you’re not using that at the track…]
  • Ryan Patton (tire carrier) – Sports Marketing
